Course Motorsports Direct Fit phone mounts are constructed with CNC cut and powdercoated vehicle specific brackets along with a CNC machined and anodized pivot ball. Finally a neodymium magnetic mount and steel pad will keep your phone in place for quick and trouble free mounting while you're on the road.
Installation is a snap. All Course Motorsports Direct Fit phone holders are designed to use factory hardware for a simple no drill installation. Most installations take less than 5 minutes, and the result is the most OEM looking phone mount on the market.

This is a great addition to the Tacoma. Allowed me to move the phone out of my vent with the other mount I used. Grip is excellent with the MagSafe Case, very happy with this purchase. I would recommend it.
I’ve spent a ton of money on phone mounts for my 21 TRD, my search is over. Solid mount and I absolutely love this mount. No adhesive or vent mount ! This mount is permanent and I would recommend 100 times!
We have two Course Motorsports "Direct Fit" phone mounts in our 2021 Tacoma truck. Generally speaking they work great - the fit and finish are excellent.
My one observation is that the steel mount material is a bit too springy/flexible, meaning the phone bounces more than I'd like while driving down (even paved) roads.
To remedy this, I've installed dense foam "stiffeners" between the bracket/magnetic mount and the dashboard, which keep the mounts from flexing so much. See attached images:
Overall the mount is great. The basic MagSafe mount that comes with it is strong enough to hold my phone on washboard dirt roads. The only problem is that it bounces on bumps. My fix was to squish a foam earplug and place it between the bracket and dash bezel. This was enough to dampen the bumps and vibrations to the mount.
Good fitment. Does vibrate on washboard roads but other than that it’s fine.
