Perfect Fit!

I started off looking for a cellphone mount that wasn't going to be hard to install and intrude into the space of the vehicle. I had been using a cup holder one for a couple years but had to keep removing it anytime I had passengers and had drinks. Course Motorsports popped up in my search and out of all the ones I researched these ones fit the bill of what I was looking for.
I ended up buy two. I bought the first one to see how it mounts and wondered why there was only a right side mount. Well my guess is they want to keep the product toolless as possible. I do vehicle upfitting for a living so I don't mind making something work. I got the mount to fit on the left side after removing a small cross section on molding ridges on the dash piece. Once that was done the mount fit perfectly. The passenger fit just as it should with no modification. So I bought one magnetic wireless charge and one magnetic non charging mount. Even though the wireless charger comes with a power plug and cable I once again opted to take the upfitter route and installed a hardwired 12v to 5v USB kit that was fused and wired to the ignition so that it turns off with the car.
I then used a flat style USB-C with a 90 degree plug to come to the charging head. It made a perfect unobtrusive install and look. Hopefully the pictures help show with what I did. These folks were super prompt with shipping the products out and the website is easy to navigate.
