Mount went in very easy and looks very nice. The quality is great and looks factory.
Great metal bracket but it wobbles even when firmly seated; Requires some hard foam inserted between the bracket and auto trim to make it secure. Also the instructions should clarify it's likely necessary to use the 12 amp adapter that comes with the mount (since typical USB-C ports don't have enough power).
Perfect fit and is exactly what I was looking for in a sturdy phone mount. It came with an allen key to tighten the ball. The only thing I would change is if the long side of the allen key had a phillips screw driver tip to remove the radio screw. It would truely be no additional tools needed for instalation. That's very picky though. 10/10 would buy it again regarless. Thanks a ton!!
On Nov 16 2025 I purchased this item for my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The install was clean (the How To video was perfect), at first I liked it. It does place the phone right over the Tune adjustment nob and the Air Recirculation button, but otherwise its a pretty accessible location.
About 4 months into use, the bracket starts to vibrate due to the vehicle traveling down a normal highway. Slowly, the provided foam on the bracket has compressed and now isn't holding any tension, allowing the bracket to really vibrate so there is an audible noise and the phone is not pleasant to look at. I wish the bracket had some sort of support that would prevent the vibration. I now have to remove it as it is more of a problem than a solution. Was great at first.
The mount itself is too flimsy. Tightening the ball on the mount made the whole mount twist and I had to straighten it out. I had to tighten the ball harder than I had initially because trying to attach the magnet phone mount base caused the ball to come off. After installing the mount and putting my phone on the magnetic mount I got with it, the mount wiggles with the weight of my iPhone 15 pro max because of the thin metal used to make the mount. $50 for a mount that is poor quality and is not solid feels like robbery.
